o World Championship of IDO disciplines is sport-cultural event  of worldwide importance that will take place for second time from 3rd - 7th November 2010 in BABYLON CENTRUM  in Liberci (CZ) http://www.centrumbabylon.cz/ . Previous years of this event were held in Belgium, France and Italy and last three years in  Austrian Seefeld and  Nauders.

o Announcer is IDO (International dance organization), www.ido-dance.com which is main institution involved in granting of European and World Competitions and Championships and setting out the rules. President of this biggest dance organization of the world is Mr. Bill Fowler (USA)

o About 20 countries of the world are expected to arrive including dancers from such far away countries like Kamchatka, Japan. Thank to attractive disciplines like  solos, duos, couples or small groups Skandinavien dancers are expected to arrive too.

o Dance is activity including the whole population. It became popular thank to attractive TV broadcasting ( StarDance, Bailando).

o Dance is organized by many dance unions in Czech Republic, the biggest one is CDO o.s (Czech Dance Organization) with ten thousand of members. http://www.czechdance.org/

o Championship will be not only cultural and aestetic experience, but also event oriented on achievements and results. Titles "World Champion and European Champion" will be given.

o About 1000 competitors will take part in this competition. MINI KIDS  category of small children till 8 years  was included to Championship for the second time having big success in previous year. This category brings many members of family, which has possitive effect on attendance. This youngest category is very attractive at all. . Higher attendance then in previous years is expected - around 5000 visitors.
